If you’re a Disney fan and have children, a Disney Cruise should be at the top of your travel list! Having experienced two Disney cruises—first on the Disney Magic and most recently on the Disney Wish—I can confidently say the magic begins the moment you step aboard. The excitement, the enchantment, and the memories made are truly priceless.
As soon as you walk through the entrance, you’re greeted by characters, dazzling decor, and a crew that embodies the Disney spirit. It feels as though you’ve stepped into a floating version of the happiest place on Earth, where everyone is dedicated to making your experience unforgettable. The staff goes above and beyond, staying in character and delivering that signature Disney charm, while also providing top-notch service.
One of the highlights for me and my daughter is the food—every meal feels like a feast! From gourmet dining to delicious snacks, there’s always something to look forward to. The best part? If your kids love the kids’ club as much as mine does, you get to enjoy some downtime. Disney’s adult-only sections are a treat for parents. On the Disney Wish, we especially enjoyed the different themed bars, and the Star Wars lounge was a standout, with its fun and creative cocktails that make you feel like you’re in a galaxy far, far away!
This time around, we brought my mom along as a special birthday treat, and she loved every minute of it. It was a joy to see three generations of our family experiencing the magic together. From enjoying the onboard shows to exploring the different ship features, there truly is something for everyone, no matter your age.
And, of course, as a photographer, I couldn’t resist getting the photo package! Having professional photos taken throughout the trip—whether it’s during dinner or in spontaneous moments around the ship—was the perfect way to preserve our memories. Sure, I took plenty of snapshots on my phone, but the images from the photographers? They captured those special, candid moments that I might have missed. These photos have become priceless reminders of the fun we had and the memories we made, and I’ll cherish them forever.
